8:00 AM Prompt Attendance Video

Good morning, Georgia Lottery Pre-K families. This is Robert. I want to speak directly to you regarding your child’s future. The issue at hand that we're having is late attendance. We are needing all children in by 8:00 AM. Understand this: at 8:00 o'clock, they are considered late. This is a precursor and a guide to public school and to their educational future. Please know that we look to have about 20% of our student population score and test into the first-grade percentile. But we cannot do this without the children being here. Your teachers are the direct pipeline to your child's growth and education. So if you have a doctor’s visit, or something that came up—these things we knew about—please let the teachers know. Feel free to let me know. The goal is communication. So, I look forward to seeing everyone here by 8:00 o'clock. Thank you.
